Little "Oogie Boogie" (yes, that's her real name) joined us here at Singletree over a month ago. She is an OTTB who is carrying our Secret x I'm The Lady Texel pregnancy. She is young, and SO sweet--- and rapidly became attached to 28 year old EM Wowie. Last night I thought this picture was fitting-- often, you cannot see where Oogie ends and Wowie begins! Grateful for a sweet and well-handled recipient mare, and for an amazing matron who fulfills not only a babysitter role now, but clearly the role of for this young, submissive mare. I can't wait for THEM to have that baby!

Still taking plate pictures to annoy Taryn Hayden but also to weirdly hold myself accountable. Leaving the house running on nothing but coffee and then subbing Quest bars for meals probably shouldn't keep happening. Because I'm a big girl. And because I have beautuful tomatoes, onions, and eggs from here that I should be eating. 💪

Rain Restaurant & Bar always knocking it out of the park and thinking outside the box with their features. Curried trout with heirloom tomatoes, orzo, spinach creme and haricot verts? Yasss. Alex opted for the NY strip feature with some amazing fried brussel sprouts and mashed tatas. 😋 in
