Some closings are just a little more special than others. ❤️
I had the privilege of helping my sister-in-law purchase a brand-new home for herself and her three kids as they begin a new chapter.
What makes it even sweeter? Her new home is right behind her parents’ house, giving her and the kids a built-in support system, extra peace of mind, and plenty of opportunities to make memories together.
Like many buyers, she initially thought purchasing a new construction home would be a simple process directly through the builder. But having representation made a big difference. We negotiated thousands of dollars in builder and lender credits, advocated for her interests throughout the process, and ensured the closing timeline worked for her family’s needs—even when there was pressure to close sooner.
One of the biggest misconceptions in real estate is that you don’t need a Realtor when buying new construction. The builder has a sales representative working for the builder. Having your own Realtor means having someone in your corner to help protect your interests, negotiate where possible, explain the process, and make sure you’re making informed decisions every step of the way.
This wasn’t just about buying a house. It was about creating stability, security, and a fresh start for a family I love.
Congratulations on your beautiful new home. I can’t wait to watch the memories made there for years to come. 🏡✨
