Illustrated by Barbara Marks for the US Office of War Information, this WWII-era poster portrays an image of a N**i soldier stabbing a Bible. Since posters can be an inexpensive way to disseminate information quickly, they became a viable medium of persuasion and information during wartime in America. They were generally shared in public spaces, including schools and offices, which made them easily accessible to a wider audience. As a common tool of warfare, propaganda posters are often powerful symbols that greatly influence people’s perceptions.

The rule of thumb regarding fixtures is that if it is attached to the house or property, it stays. But it seems increasingly, that's not the case!

It's not unusual that a favorite light fixture does not remain in the house when it is sold. And every once in a while, a house will be listed with the special notation that certain outside plantings don't transfer.
