Home Buying Myth

"A home passes inspection, so it's perfect!"

No. Home inspectors don't give a pass or fail report. It doesn't mean the house is 100%. They focus on visible health & safety concerns, strucutral issues and an evaluation of the homes major systems like the heating/cooling, plumbing & electrical. They can not see into walls or predict any future issue. Read the report and plan for normal maintenance and possible future repairs post closing.

If there any issues that come up, we can try to work with the seller. Or if the house needs too much work, you can likely withdraw from the purchase.
