Hello everyone! We hope you’re having a wonderful summer! We would like to address the issue of misdelivered packages. We all have had the misfortune, many times, of not receiving packages due to delivery to the incorrect building or entrance, and we’re sure many others have had the same experience.
We have all delivered many packages to the correct buildings as well as had to go building to building looking for our packages!! To say the least, it’s very frustrating and time consuming.
Since many of our residents are elderly, going building to building looking for their packages is just not feasible. We are asking if you see a misdelivered package in your building, and you are able, if you wouldn’t mind redirecting that package to the appropriate building and entrance or contact the office to let us know so we can deliver to the correct address. Your help will be tremendously appreciated by your fellow neighbors!!
Heads up that PECO is scheduling to replace the main electric cable throughout the entire complex within the next 2-4 weeks. The electric will not be affected while the new cable is being installed. When it comes time to convert the service from the old to the new we were told the electric will be off for about 8 hours. We have asked to be notified when they will be here to begin the work, to be kept up to date with their work schedule and when they will be shutting the power off. We in turn will keep the residents informed.
The tree guys will be here next week to start some badly needed tree trimming. Their emphasis is going to be trimming branches too close to the buildings. In addition, some dead trees will be removed.
We have 16 decks on the schedule to be replaced this year. We should be hearing shortly when that work is to begin.

MISSING CAT! My Moms cat squishy just ran away from her condo in Trimble run. This is an indoor only cat that ran out the door and is likely scared of the thunder. Please text or call me at 610-220-4082. She lives in building E and was last seen running towards the Trimble run entrance at bridgwater and Clearwater. Please share!

Received this post from one of our residents:
FYI! I was sitting on my deck in D bldg across from the office. To my surprise I heard a loud squawking. I never heard a bird here that loud. Low & behold it was bald eagle swooping over E bldg & landing in a tree across from E bldg parking lot. I'm a casual bird watcher. I've seen several types of hawlks , birds, owls, fox & bunny etc. This was. quite a surprise with the 4th around the corner.

Pool season is almost upon us. Pool folders with the registration forms are now available in the File Folder next to the Fire Extinguisher in every entrance. Forms were also distributed to each townhouse. You can contact the office with any questions at 610-447-8167 or [email protected] or if you would like Janet to email you a copy.

Welcome to May at Trimble Run. We are getting the pool ready, with the season to open on Memorial Day weekend. Registration forms will be distributed in the file folder containers located in each entrance next to the fire exinguisher by mid-week. The townhouses will each receive a copy inserted in their doors. Prices are staying the same as last year - $50 per one resident unit, $100 per two or more full-time residents and $30 per guest pass with a limit of 4.
Landscaping has been busy removing bushes that impede the residents from getting out through their windows in the case of an emergency. Smaller bushes and/or perennials are being planted in their place.
We are working on the next newsletter and would like to invite the residents to submit articles they feel would benefit the community. This can include a request for a need you might have (such as request for cleaning services, need a ride to an appointment), a task you would like to fulfill (clean out your refrigerator, wash your windows) or a request for information. Please submit in writing to the office at [email protected], leave a message in the office door mailbox or drop it off during open office hours.

Several questions have been asked regarding the heat. PA Condominium Law states if the association provides the heat to the units, it must stay on until May 15. But that doesn't mean that individual units have to keep their heat on. Everyone is entitled to turn your heat off in your unit - shut the thermostat off. Your heat pipes will then be cold to the touch. If yours is still warm then you'll need to have your thermostat, transformer and/or zone valve checked out as one of those items must not be working correctly. You can contact the office if you need to have them checked out.
Reminder that A/C covers were never put on, so you are free to use your air conditioner.

Heating concerns affect everyone at Trimble Run. We have some more winter weather coming this weekend, not seen since Christmas weekend. It is expected to have very cold temperatures along with wind chills; please note where your heat pipes are = along your baseboards up against the outside walls without any insulation protecting the pipes. So, when we have the cold + wind + uninsulated pipes there is only so much heat your unit is going to get. Pushing your thermostat up is NOT going to produce any more heat in your unit, it's only going to cause the boilers to work harder trying to keep up with the normal demand. Make sure your windows are closed, the heat vents are free of any obstructions, seal off drafts around your windows and doors. Upper units in every entry are asked to close the window in the hallway. Despite the cold there are still several units that are running their A/C units – this is only sending the heat that everyone pays for out the window. If you are having trouble controlling your heat, please call the office to have it checked out. Remember there are three components to the heat – the zone valve, the transformer and the thermostat – all three must be working for you to have heat you can control. The plumber will verify all the boilers are working properly; if you are not satisfied that you have “enough” heat and call it in as an emergency when in fact the boilers are operational you may be held responsible for the emergency call by the plumber. If you have NO heat that is considered an emergency and should be called in ASAP. We agree this is an unfortunate situation, but as with many issues with Trimble Run’s construction, this is beyond our control. Trimble Run Council

UPDATE: 1/24-one section of the H roof was completed today. They did not want to open the whole roof up with the inclement weather that is forecast for tomorrow. As of now the plan is that they will be back on Thursday (may need to finish up Friday) to finish the roof so the parking spaces along the side of H building need to remain clear of any vehicles.
We were also asked if anyone has seen a box radio that was being used by the guys when they were cleaning the gutters last week? Since all buildings were done the radio may have been left behind; think J and K were done last. If you have found the radio, please call the office (610-447-8167) or bring it to the office (E20). Thanks.

ATTENTION H BUILDING RESIDENTS

On Monday, January 23rd the roofers will be here to begin replacing the entire roof section over H4-H9-H15. They will need space for the trucks and their equipment so by 7:30AM Monday morning please have all vehicles moved from parking spaces #77 thru #85 and all the unnumbered spaces against the side of the building. You can park across the bridge in any un-numbered space. It may take a couple of days to complete.
We are sorry for the temporary inconvenience.
