This one just hits different…

I have known my seller for this home for over 30 years. She listed this home with another realtor a few years ago, but the timing wasn’t right and it didn’t sale. This time, she called me and I am very grateful to have been able to get her across the finish line.

I also represented the buyers for this home, whom I’ve still never met in person. They are a military family that is moving to MS to be closer to family, and they currently living 2 time zones away. From the many virtual showings with the mom present to see the homes in person, to the late night phone calls, texts, and emails so that we were communicating at their convenience, it was a true pleasure to work for them! Even the closing was done remote for them since they are still not here in MS yet. We plan to meet in person once they’re here and settled, and I cannot wait!

Most people think that realtors only open doors and fill in the blanks or check boxes in a contract. This deal here is a prime example of the problem solving, quick thinking required (because everything is on a deadline), flexibility, and late hours required to get some families in a home. Some are easier than others, but some (like this one) are also more rewarding than others! This one is a prime example of why I love what I do!!!
