The last outdoor market of the season lands on Halloween. Artists, makers, designers and vintage dealers take over the Boston Open Market on Boylston Street — in costume — for one afternoon of shopping, treats and our 23rd annual costume contest.

W**e is science that we talk about like art, and just like art, color is a fundamental component of w**e’s style, message, and personality.

On a cool autumn evening, the Diana Stelin Gallery will light up with art, color, and w**e for a tasting class in six hues, where w**e and art will meet in a delicious conversation. If you’ve ever held a glass of w**e up to the light and loved it just by looking at it without even tasting it, this class is for you.

Our night begins in the gallery, surrounded by paintings and pigment, where we will taste w**es chosen not only for flavor, but for the stories their colors tell. As we taste through the spectrum of w**e, you’ll look at the w**e and into the w**e too, into what the color promises the w**e will be.
