The deterioration that water leaks will cause to the infrastructure over a period of time will be costly if not addressed immediately. Due to leaking appliances and piping this home owner is now faced with rotting wood, mold and wet drywall. I'm in disbelief someone used silicone as a permanent measure to stop the pipe from leaking.
