The Calyer Greenpoint: From Vaudeville House to Luxury Condominium 🏬
In the heart of Greenpoint's historic district and at the site of what was once a vaudeville house and a 1,600-seat theatre, Adjmi Construction, KSR NY, and PKSB Architects have launched The Calyer Greenpoint. The ground-up new construction building on the corner of Calyer Street and Lorimer Street offers 21 units on six floors: five 1-bedrooms, seven 2-bedrooms, seven 3-bedrooms, and two 4-bedrooms.
Several units have a bedroom count with the suffix "+" or ".5" because of an additional room. Although that room does not meet the legal definition of a bedroom, it still offers a significant amount of additional living or workspace. Not surprisingly, the average apartment is a spacious 1,372 SF.
In addition to large interiors, one-third of the residences offer large exterior spaces, including the penthouse with its 153-foot wraparound terrace. Building-level amenities include a roof deck with BBQ grills, a fitness center, a children's playroom, and bike storage.
Topping the city's deal volume chart this week, Jessica Peters, Daniel Fried, and Zachary Mansour of The Jessica Peters Team at Douglas Elliman reported four signed contracts. They are currently marketing three units: a 2-bedroom for $1.95M and a pair of 3 bedrooms asking $2.395M and $2.695M.
