A great reminder that having a financing plan—even when you intend to pay cash—can make all the difference.

A client came to me for a preapproval letter even though she planned to purchase her Florida home with cash. She returned two or three times to update the letter, confident she was set.

Then an unexpected issue delayed the closing on the sale of her current home—while her Florida purchase already had a firm closing date. She reached out looking for a solution, and we were able to pivot quickly and execute.

We successfully closed the purchase in 11 days. Hearing how happy she was afterward was the best part of the process.

Recently, I had the opportunity to guide a first-time homebuyer through the purchase process after being referred by a previous client. He trusted me to help navigate each step, and I’m grateful we were able to make his dream of homeownership a reality.
