Nothing is better than rage gardening!
I listed an estate sale in March after 3 weeks of interior work. We procured an all cash buyer 80k over ask day 1.
So what happened? The buyer had to sell to buy. The seller chose the buyer and the over ask amount was enough to take the risk. The buyers buyer asked for $200k off the buyers sale price and refused to close. It’s a good thing I can stage and garden.
We are re-prepping 2954 Avenue R to relist at $950k. 2700 single family. 5 beds 2.5 baths set up as a 2 families. This home will be fully manicured by Monday.
The funniest bit is my staging teammates was offered 3 gardening jobs yesterday from folks driving by. I told the guys, why not idk 🤷‍♀️ we invested in some tools. We are very good garden sculptors! Do it- to it!
I’m really good at just getting things done and I love! Nothing beats rage gardening! Luxe • List • NY Boutique Homestaging and Design Services

SDD this week, we chose

Driving up to Williamsburg took an hour 20th. A cool ride thru prospect heights-> fort Greene —> Artists & Fleas Market on North 7th.
Very convenient 2nd stop at Smorgasburg | NYC Food Market

Our 3rd stop was Earwax Records ; what a fun stroll down bedford to see all the shops and get our steps on.

Our last stop was Keg & Lantern Brewing Company for a ice cold pilsner and a fresh pretzel 🥨

See you next Saturday!! Hopefully not as humid as this one 😜

I find it fascinating to discover what unifies us as humans and especially as New Yorkers. Food (and clean water) being a major category.
Food itself is a source of unity. The nutrition behind it, the ceremonies and rituals used to display and present it. The community that gathers to experience it.
The customs and traditions behind sharing and presenting food has been a source of unity for centuries upon centuries.

Last night, I met up with some extended family in town from Europe, who happened to be I did a deep dive into the best vegan restaurants in NYC. We decided on a gorgeous dinner at the vegan and kosher restaurant Anixi | Vegan and Kosher Restaurant
I think about what is happening in the world thru the lens of my immediate community, my family across the world and the families suffering in the Middle East, Sudan, The Congo. Families right here in NYC and across the US limited to access of food. I have cooked a lot in the last two years. Quality food and dining out has become very expensive, and it’s a choice and investment I make to simply put make memories and take care of the people I love.
I am humbled I get to live in such a beautiful city and have the opportunity and resources to indulge in delicacies amongst loved ones.

I am so grateful to have had then chance to taste 6 different styles of hummus along with the freshest and doughiest pita that lends itself as a staple to many middle eastern communities across the globe. I’m convinced chickpeas, olive trees, tomato and grape vines are older than time.
I cherish the experience last night dining amongst vegan and kosher guests. A place that Jews, Muslims, Hindu, Christian and atheists plus lbgtqia groups; all gathered to dine peacefully over the 6 types of hummus and the 5 different vegan kabobs on the menu.
We were all there for the same reason to nourish our bodies and gather to celebrate life with loved ones.
Yes I am highly aware the classism that comes with the restaurant industry and feel very blessed to be able to partake.
And then I road a $7.84 e- Citi Bike home in heals and witnessed the moon over the Manhattan bridge. What a city.

Tomas and I had a great SDD in dumbo this weekend! SDD = Saturday date day where we explore a different neighborhood. Tomas is into vinyl. I’m into shopping, up cycling and getting my steps on. We are both into architecture and history. The vintage vendors at the Brooklyn Flea were 🔥! What a great community of humans creating a small biz that both taps our nostalgia and saves waste from the landfill. Love it! Also if you haven’t been to fishes eddy in a while - go shopping for some plates! Loved it! Brooklyn Flea Time Out Market New York
