A NEW STEP FORWARD: IDEO U’S AI X DESIGN THINKING CERTIFICATE

I recently completed IDEO U’s AI x Design Thinking Workshop, and it turned out to be one of those rare moments where structure and imagination meet in exactly the right way. The course invited a way of seeing that felt both disciplined and playful — a reminder of how reframing, pattern-finding, and following the sparks at the edges of ideas can shift an entire problem space. IDEO’s blend of rigor and creativity pushed me into territory I might not have found on my own.

This comes on the heels of finishing UT Austin’s postgraduate program in Generative AI for Business Solutions. Together, the two experiences are creating an interesting through-line in my work: one offers technical depth, the other expands the creative lens. It’s a combination that’s opened up new ways of thinking about design, systems, and the future of AI-enabled experiences.

Thrilled to share a milestone in my ongoing work at the intersection of technology, design, and business: completion of the Postgraduate Program in Generative AI for Business Applications at The University of Texas at Austin — McCombs School of Business. https://vrfy.digital/bbvgzwyg

This was a rigorous and forward-looking program focused on the strategic, ethical, and technical foundations of Generative AI—including Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and the development of responsible AI solutions for real-world impact.

The coursework explored how AI can enhance decision-making, productivity, and creativity across industries—skills increasingly vital to how we work, communicate, and innovate.

For me, this marks another step in a career devoted to clarity, connection, and intelligent systems—bringing together experience in design, communication, and real estate with a growing focus on AI’s role in shaping more human-centered technology.

Pasta con Le Sardi (bucatini with sardines) tonight. A classic Sicilian dish my grandmother used to cook on rare occasion. Traditionally made for Saint Joseph’s Day in . A very complex mix of flavors with fish, raisins, pignoli nuts, onions, and fi*****io (fennel) and saffron, that work beautifully together topped with toasted breadcrumbs.

Sad news that Macy’s Brooklyn on Fulton Street is closing. The original location of Abraham and Strauss. It is a building with a storied past. Part of a 30% reduction in the retail footprint of the Macy’s chain, which recently rejected a $6.9 billion buyout offer. It was reportedly sold at the fire sale price of $23 million dollars to a group of investors, with four equities recently buying in according to the New York Post. Truly the end of an era in the shaping of downtown Brooklyn.
