Property Taxes are ALWAYS a hot topic for the state of Texas, and while Texas remains a 2-legged stool revenue state, taking from only Sales and Property Taxes, many want to see Property Taxes go away. It's in our state constitution that we cannot ever have a State Income Tax, so what are your thoughts when it comes to the balance of our state's budget?

Today was a first!! I experienced an interaction that was straight out of the movie “Stepbrothers” where I was greeted by a homeowner telling me I will not show the property, who then proceeded to video tape and follow me and my client a half mile down the road, where we stopped to regroup after leaving. Once I said I was calling Waller County Sheriff I was told it was a public roadway she she could drive where she pleased. Guess who’s NOT making an offer on that listing!! Fellow Realtors, you’re not obligated to retain a listing that’s going to be a terrible a reflection on your business! And folks, if you want to sell your house, let your house sell!
