Before you gasp, hear me out:

About 10% of a healthy real estate business should come from repeat or referral business.

And we think that’s way too low but let’s start there.

How do you make sure those referrals keep rolling in without awkwardly begging your mom’s neighbor’s cousin for leads?

—Stay top of mind the right way.

Stop ghosting past clients after the closing. Send handwritten notes, thoughtful pop-bys, or a quick check-in text—whatever you like to do.

You’re unforgettable when you show up after the deal.

—Make it ridiculously easy to refer you.

People love to help. They just don’t necessarily know how.

Tell them:
“Hey, if you ever hear someone mention they need to move, just say, ‘You have to call my agent!’ and send me their info. I’ll take amazing care of them.”

—Be referable. Period.

Overdeliver. Answer your phone. Be the calm in the chaos. Give them a reason to talk you up.
