As the result of an accident, eight years ago, that left me partially paralyzed, I am now a self-described “Wheeltor”, since I pursue my r

eal estate career from my wheelchairs, with the help of my husband, Gary, my service dog, Mara, and technological aids. I have seen both sides of the coin, as a Realtor, and as a person with a disability seeking housing. I began my real estate career as a buyer’s agent for new construction in Greeley, but have lived in various places in Northern Colorado and have experience in buying and selling a wide variety of properties, including residential, new construction, townhomes/condos, farms/ranches, and land. Since my accident, I have added another dimension to my past experience in real estate by understanding the special needs people like me, have. As well as being the best Realtor I can, I hope to increase awareness of issues faced by those with disabilities when it comes to buying and selling a home. I volunteer as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Atlantis Community Foundation in Denver, an organization that advocates for the homeless and disabled. Together, we are working with others to design both affordable and wheelchair-accessible housing for those in need. My vision is that these projects will be repeated nationally, due to enormous lack of barrier-free housing. I also volunteer as a "Peer Mentor" for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and find it very rewarding helping those who have been affected by Spinal Cord Injury. I love practicing real estate and I truly enjoy getting to know and understand my clients and their needs. My mission is to uphold the highest service standards of my profession, offering prompt and informative communication and a thorough insight to the real estate process. I aim to establish a business relationship based on trust and kindness, so that my clients will experience an enjoyable, individualized, and educational transaction, while looking forward to serving those in our community with diverse buying and selling needs.
