Some good finds today. The giant hole in the furnace vent pipe isn't dangerous. It's deadly.

Math's second set of pictures is a galvanized drain pipe for an upstairs sink. The water drips down into a wall cavity, which is why it's gone unnoticed for years. (No ceiling staining.)

Yes, the water heater is in a BRAND NEW home that the sellers (builders) provided an inspection for. The buyers did their due diligence and hired their OWN inspector (me)...

Let's just say the builders inspector missed a few things.
