The City of Brownsville is hosting a free Sandbag Distribution on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. and until supplies last.

Distribution Site:
Public Works Office Building C
6035 Jaime J. Zapata | Brownsville, TX

Requirements:
• Brownsville residents only
• Must bring ID and utility bill
• Limit of 6 sandbags per family
• Limit of 8 sandbags per commercial business
• Available while supplies last

Cameron County Partner Sites:
• Precinct 1 Warehouse, 2050 S. Browne Ave., Brownsville, TX
• Precinct 2 Warehouse, 7092 Old Alice Rd., Brownsville, TX

As part of the Ready Brownsville initiative, residents are encouraged to take steps now to protect their property and stay weather-aware.

Hello residents, notices were sent out today for inspections. There was a typo error on the date of inspections. The correct date for inspections for units 1-40 is this Tuesday 09/02/2025. Thank you.

***41-80 will have inspections on a different future scheduled inspection.
