⚡ Power Restoration Update – Vulcan Village

Good news! Power has been restored at Vulcan Village and all buildings should now have electricity.

Thank you to West Penn Power for coming through and getting the issue fixed earlier than expected. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the outage.

If anyone is still experiencing issues with power in their unit, please report it to the office so it can be addressed.

If you are currently without power, the Student Center will be open until 10:00 PM tonight for Vulcan Village residents.

You are welcome to stop by to charge phones and other electronic devices and get out of the dark for a bit.

West Penn Power’s current estimated restoration time is around 10:00 PM tonight.

Strong winds have caused massive power outages across our area. 🌬️⚡ Many homes are currently without electricity. According to West Penn Power, restoration is estimated to be around 10:00 PM tonight.

While we wait for power to be restored, here are a few power outage safety tips:

• 🔦 Use flashlights instead of candles to reduce fire risk.
• 🔌 Unplug sensitive electronics to protect them from power surges when electricity returns.
• ❄️ Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible to preserve food.
• Treat intersections with non-working traffic lights as a four-way stop.

Stay safe everyone, and hopefully power is restored soon! 🙏

Spring Break is next week! Please be advised that the Vulcan Village Office will continue to operate as normal, with adjusted office hours.

🕗 Office Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Our office will remain fully functional and available to assist residents with any questions, requests, or services during this time.

We are currently experiencing extremely windy conditions in our area. Please be prepared in case of possible power outages. Strong winds may cause downed trees, flying debris, and power interruptions.

If the power goes out, please remember these important safety tips:
