I didn’t ask him to do this…

we are in an extreme drought here in Georgia, so Patrick has been watering the fruit trees with the buckets more than normal.

The first day Patrick was on shift, Cooper instinctively realized that he needed to pick up the slack and do daddy‘s job. He got the buckets out himself, turned on the water hose and started filling it up to water all 10 trees 🌳

could I have done this faster and probably more effectively? Absolutely. But that would be missing the point…

Let them help. Let them do hard things. Let them see you do hard things. Let them do things slowly. Most importantly, watch your habits because they’re watching yours.
