On Monday, September 21, Dave Holman of the Holman Group was our guest speaker. He told us about his plans to develop The Jay, which will replace the space where J&J Cleaners used to be, as well as the buildings to its left. It is a big project that will add new storefronts with condos above and a large parking area under the building. A lot of thought has gone into the ecological and environmental impact on downtown Brunswick. His talk was very interesting, and many members spoke up about what they thought might make it better or more appealing to residents and the town. If you get a chance to hear Dave speak, you too will find it very informative.
