RECYCLE hard-to-recycle items at the Community Eco Store in Phoenixville! The owners - Steve and Debbie - are true hearted stewards of the environment. Thank you!

Located across the street from the Colonial Theater (and a little closer to Gay St.), here is a list of items they accept for recycling:

** ALL BRANDS of personal care items (empty of excess product) through Tom’s of Maine and Gillette® recycling programs:

* toothpaste tubes/caps

* plastic toothbrushes and associated plastic packaging

* deodorant sticks and caps

* floss containers

* mouthwash bottles/caps

*plastic soap bar wrappers

*plastic disposable razors

*replacement razor cartridge heads

*flexible or rigid plastic packaging the razors come in

**ALL BRANDS of used writing implements through BIC®’s recycling program:

* pens
* highlighters
* mechanical pencils
* markers
* glue sticks
* watercolor dispensers and paint sets
* flexible plastic packaging for these items

**BRITA® products:

*BRITA filters and packaging
*BRITA pitchers and dispensers
*BRITA bottles

**Plastic Wrappers (rinsed of food residue) through Subaru Loves the Earth and REI:
