👊September has been a big month and this was a highly anticipated job and one we really wanted under our belt. Lots of pictures here of a really cool job.

👊👊This was a big National Security safe around 1,700lbs way up in Kokadjo. Ultimately the homeowner wanted this safe in the basement. Up 3 outside stairs and then down 12 steps into the basement.

👊👊👊The customer had contacted a few household movers who turned it down for obvious reasons, however he was grateful to Tony and the guys at Black Bear Crane and Rigging for their referral to us.

👊Huge commercial unit at a Searsport business going up outside stairs.

👊Also pictured, a high end gas range removal and delivery of the new in Northeast Harbor.

⭐️We took note that the floor had some kind of high gloss finish and would scratch easily.

🌟The home owner texted us weeks after this move, she told us there was other work being done in the home and unfortunately the floors had suffered significant damage. The extra protection looks like overkill at times but she thanked us for taking the time and care

2 TONS of cast iron going into a basement!

This was a job that we really wanted under our belt, we game planned it for a few weeks, had all the right equipment and it couldn’t have gone any smoother.

R.H. Foster contacted us about getting two massive boilers into the basement of the Penobscot middle school. They were close to 2,000lbs a piece. These needed to be winched down into the basement, through the music room and perfectly positioned on 3.5 inch cement risers for installation.

We were glad to do this for a company and a middle school in nearby towns

An upright Baldwin piano move, with a review…thanks Emily! 🎹🎹

Another Baldwin, a baby grand. We have moved this one a few times, it holds a a lot of sentimental value and was recently passed from a grandmother down to a granddaughter, so they were happy to keep it within their family.

Some hot tub and piano removals.

🛁🛁 This hot tub weighed in a tad over 1,000lbs. It was very water logged and rotted, with water inside of it still, adding to the weight.

🎹🎹 And a massive upright piano at a Castine mansion that went during a two day estate sale. Someone is planning to use the wood from the piano so it wasn’t a total loss.

Big 60 inch Blue Star range picked up in Falmouth and delivered all the way to Deer Isle. These are heavy and the pathway through the house needs to be totally protected.

For the delivery in Deer Isle the doorways were very tight so we had to remove parts of the range and stand it upright and maneuver it through that way.

This couch needed to be pulled up onto the roof and then put through a second floor window. The customer ordered it and a delivery company attempted to maneuver it up the stairs, but they were unsuccessful.

We also tried to get the couch up the stairs ourselves with no luck, so we went to Plan B….

✅Remove the large window
✅ Fully protect the couch, the window sill, and the roof from damage
✅ Get on the roof and pull the couch up
✅ Feed it in through window

A handful of hot tubs the last few weeks. Two of these tubs were bought online and delivered only as far as the driveway. We came and got them onto decks and platforms for their final spot

The last tub pictured was very rotted and water logged and needed to be disposed of. It weighed in at the dump a little over 1,100 pounds because of this

A handful of different Steinway pianos 🎹🎹🎹 over the last week or so.

This first Steinway grand piano pictured we have moved before. It was bought in Tokyo and has been moved all over the world. For any pianist/musicians that would appreciate it:

🎹Matthew Whittaker played on this very piano when he was 10 years old (he opened for Stevie Wonder at this age)

🎹Frederic Chiu and 🎹 Ellis Marsalis also played on this piano

Tricky Speed Queen washer and dryer delivery and installation, plus removals of the old. We worked with our long time former employer, Brown Appliance, on this one, as this went far beyond what a standard and safe delivery would call for.

A spiral staircase with a newly installed chair lift on it. The units needed to be lifted over the chair lift rail while moving them. The customer pointed out there were delicate tracks for the gears that could be damaged. We half hoisted it/half muscled it and got it done.
