Today we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to recognize the incredible bravery of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who stepped forward in the face of tragedy.

That day forever changed us, but what came the day after was just as powerful — a country united in compassion, kindness, and resilience. Strangers helped strangers. Communities stood shoulder to shoulder. We reminded one another of what truly matters.

As we reflect today, let us carry that same spirit forward. May we not only remember those we lost, but also strive to treat every day like the day after — with empathy, unity, and gratitude.
