I just read an interesting article that said that 30%+ of homeowners between the ages of 30 and 45 will be planning on selling their homes in 2025. Most of those plan to use the equity to move up to a larger home (taking advantage of the equity they gained in the last 5 years). Most people 60 plus have no desire to sell their home and the few that are thinking of selling are thinking of downsizing. And, a final notable point, the market has become neutral-neither a sellers market or a buyers market. Just food for thought.
