Just this week, another real estate scammer contacted me wanting to list a vacant lot in Mohave Valley — with a fake ID using the real owner’s name!

Even crazier…Just two weeks earlier, he targeted the same property with another Realtor. She completed the paperwork and listed the lot in the MLS before discovering it was a scam.

* Associations may need to increase HOA dues to build adequate reserve funds. Fannie Mae estimates increasing reserve funding from 10% to 15%.

* Some older condo communities may need to review their reserve funding and maintenance plans.

* Buyers should ask whether a condo is eligible for conventional financing before making an offer.

* This proposal is intended to protect buyers and lenders by ensuring condo associations are financially prepared for major repairs.
