Construction and project alerts!
City crews continue to sweep streets throughout the community due to recent rains.
Slurry work - Complete work on Ramar Road from Monte Vista Drive to Gold Rush Road. This work will take place overnight with nightly closures starting at 8:00 pm and roads opening to traffic by 6:00 am the following morning. Crack seal work - Crews will continue daytime crack seal work next week between Trane Road and Palma Road.
Asphalt repair - Crews will start prepping the intersection of Rio Vista Drive and Dorado Drive for repair. Asphalt paving will take place on Monday, October 26.
Chaparral Golf & Country Club will be closed for reseeding from October 1 through November 10 and is scheduled to reopen November 11. The restaurant and bar will remain open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Veterans will be able to golf for free on Veterans Day, November 11, with verification of veteran status required. Veterans are encouraged to call ahead to reserve a tee time.
Community Park Splash Pad is temporarily closed for warranty work to repaint the water features.
The ADA ramp at the Rotary Park fishing pier will remain closed while crews make accessibility upgrades. The work began September 8. A grand opening celebration for the new ADA ramp is anticipated in early 2027.
TWN Communications will bore and install fiber-optic cable beneath Marina Boulevard at SR 95, requiring a partial closure of the southbound SR 95 right-turn lane onto Marina Boulevard on October 22, 2026, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Construction crews will continue laying new waterline along North Oatman Road as part of Phase III of the South Supply Line project. The project will connect the new well on Riverview Drive to a future water tower on Black Mountain Road. Related to this work, Arcadia d Boulevard is closed and is expected to reopen near the end of November.
Southwest Gas, in partnership with Northern Pipeline Construction Co. (NPL), will continue installing a new gas main along Bullhead Parkway between Laughlin Ranch Boulevard and Landon Drive. Work will take place daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will require intermittent lane restrictions at the intersection of Bullhead Parkway and Laughlin Ranch Boulevard, as well as southbound right-lane closures along Bullhead Parkway. No full road closures are anticipated, and access through the area will be maintained.
T.R. Orr, Inc., on behalf of the City of Bullhead City, will continue building new restrooms at Community Park, just south of the Bullhead Belle.
Bullhead City Utilities crews will be completing asphalt and concrete repairs throughout the City in areas where recent water line repairs were performed.
Kay Constructors LLC, under contract with Bullhead City Utilities, is building a new aeration basin at the Section 10 wastewater treatment plant. The project is part of an overall expansion effort to increase the volume of water the City can reclaim.
Bullhead City Utilities will continue rehabilitating an existing clarifier at the Section 10 wastewater treatment plant, located at 901 Richardo Ave. Rehabilitation work includes draining, cleaning, and measuring the clarifier before installing new mechanical equipment and protective material to extend the lifespan of the concrete. Kay Constructors is also building a new clarifier at the facility.

The City reminds the public to only flush human waste, toilet paper, and grey water down the drain. All other waste products should be disposed of through other means to avoid damage to the City’s infrastructure.
