According to Rocket homes, the number of listings in Los Angeles, CA increased by 8.4% between May 2022 and June 2022. Listings spent 20 days on the market in June 2022 and had a median list price of $960,678. Over 1297 listings were sold over their listed price, over 428 listings were sold below the listed price and 205 listings were sold for the listed price. Due to spiking mortgage rates and inventory gains the housing market is decelerating, which means house prices are going to increase in a more moderate way. Zillow's home value forecast calls for a gradual slowdown in annual home value growth for the current pace of 20.9% to 11.6%. Over the next three months, Zillow expects home values to grow 5.2%, down from an expectation for 5.5% growth in the previous month's forecast.
Revised projections still represent a very strong housing market.
