There are no words to describe walking The Camino. The wonderful women I met along the way, the miles and miles of walking, the heat, the quite & solitude. The hills, the forest, the towns, the beaches. It was the most spiritual experience of my life. As a person that has so desperately wanted to find “God” my biggest takeaway is that regardless of what you call that being or that energy - it’s a thing that lives within us. There is nothing to search for out in the world. What I was looking for was always within me. I will be eternally grateful for this journey and the women that befriend me along this journey.

Porto l Portugal 🇵🇹

I visited Portugal for the 3rd time. Lisbon is great but Porto is my favorite. It’s a mix of a small city with big vibes. It was the start of my journey on The Camino. Life in Portugal is calm and slower paced. The people are fun and it’s a late night scene. Wonderful spot.

After days of walking/hiking on the Camino Portugués my feet hurt, legs hurt, back hurts… I’m tired. With several days to go I feel so good mentally & spiritually. The women I have met along the way are truly special. Pilgrims from all over the world walking for a multitude of reasons all headed for Santiago de Compostela. The country side is beautiful, the villages are charming. I started in Porto and loved it. Today I will cross over to Spain. Please wish me a 🇵🇹

As I embark on probably the biggest adventure of my life thus far; I’m scared. Walking from Porto🇵🇹to Santiago de Compostela 🇪🇸 on my own. The time alone with myself seems scary. I’ve never been alone. I’ve always been surrounded by family, friends, clients, a pet. Always taking care of someone or something else. Fixing something, solving something, making something better. Now I get to do that for myself. I’m so excited to spend this time with myself.
