While the ingenuity of this is impressive, it had to be written up. The bathroom vent fan duct has been affixed to the bottom of the attic fan motor. It will help direct some moist air out of the attic, but not as well as a sealed vent through the soffit or the roof. This was a first for this inspector!

We get asked frequently if it is worth getting a home inspection on new construction sales. This was a new singlewide manufactured home. Note the water stains running down the wall. The roof on this one was leaking like this in multiple places and had caused water puddles on the floor. Always get an inspection! Even if nothing is found, at least you will have peace of mind.
