Some home searches take months, this one took a day.

My clients were making a big move from California to Seattle, and the moment we walked into this home, they knew. The view, the primary suite, and the feeling of being able to picture their life here made it click right away.

Most people going into a real estate transaction know the basics.

But there are a few things that still catch people off guard.

Opening a new credit card or furnishing your place before closing can flag your loan and put the deal at risk. A job change, even a positive one, can do the same thing. And going in with a low offer “just to see” can signal to a seller that you’re not serious, especially in a competitive Seattle market.

The good news is, all of this is avoidable when you have the right guidance from the start.
