"Is This a Scam?”
“Is This Really Legitimate?”

"It is a fair—and important—question.

Excess funds can be created when a property sells at auction for more than the amount needed to satisfy authorized debts and expenses. Information about these funds may appear in public government, court, tax-sale, and property records.

A legitimate recovery professional should:

✅ Explain where the information came from
✅ Identify the property connected to the funds
✅ Let you verify the information independently
✅ Explain all services and fees in writing
✅ Never guarantee that your claim will be approved
✅ Never pressure you to sign immediately

We believe informed clients make confident decisions.

That remaining balance may be called excess funds, surplus proceeds, or tax-sale overages—and an eligible former owner, heir, lienholder, or other interested party may have the right to submit a claim.
