Paper Shredding and E-waste Collection Event

Donations to the Rotary Club of Belmont & Redwood Shores and the Wounded Warrior Project are always appreciated.
A shredding truck will be on-site to shred your unwanted and unneeded files in minutes. Please note that we can shred paper and file folders only (staples and paper/binder clips are ok). NO NON-paper items such as 3 ring binders/notebooks, photos, x-rays, metals, garbage (wet moldy paper), plastic, wood and all other non-paper items allowed. All materials we shred are recycled directly to the paper mills domestically so we must keep all contaminants out to keep our materials recyclable.We cannot accept any boxes or batteries.
** Limit of 6 banker boxes worth of paper. **
E – Media: On Site Destruction
Floppies/CD’s, thumbdrives & Hard Drives (depending on size) can be destroyed onsite or offsite with paper.
*Hard Drives must be taken out of laptops or computers to be
shredded on site. If not able to be removed at time of event, then laptops and computers can be destroyed offsite.

Cellphones/VHS Tapes, Floppies/CD’s,Hard Drives, computers w/Hard Drive, and Tablets/laptops
E – Media: Recycling
Monitors, Electric cables (cat 5), TV’s, VCR’s, Speakers, Routers, modems, Radios/Stereos, Cameras, Telephones, Printers, Anything that belongs to a computer (mouse, keyboards, cables, etc.)
NO TONERS, INK CARTRIDGES, BATTERIES, LIGHT BULBS OR APPLIANCES ACCEPTED.
