What an incredible day celebrating the ribbon cutting of A Living Legacy: San Bruno’s Natural History, painted on the side of a building our family owns in Downtown San Bruno. ❤️

Created by the incredibly talented Julie Engelmann who also painted the Alysa Liu and Kristi Yamaguchi mural, this beautiful piece celebrates San Bruno’s natural history, weaving native plants and wildlife into the city’s urban landscape- including the endangered mission blue butterfly.

For our family, this mural means so much more. Seeing Lullaby Lane, the children’s store my parents, Harold and Rosalie Gevertz, founded in 1947 (and even the pony ride!) permanently represented was incredibly special. For more than 60 years, Lullaby Lane served generations of San Bruno families, and now a piece of that history lives on in this mural.

Saturday was a beautiful reminder of how much Downtown San Bruno has evolved while still honoring the people, businesses, and memories that helped shape it.

Tomorrow is a special day for our family. We’ll be celebrating the ribbon cutting of this beautiful new mural in Downtown San Bruno, painted on the side of a building our family owns.

The mural, “A Living Legacy: San Bruno’s Natural History,” commemorates the history of Downtown San Bruno, including a very meaningful piece of our own family’s history- Lullaby Lane, the children’s store founded by my parents, Harold and Rosalie Gevertz, in 1947.

Lullaby Lane was part of the San Bruno community for more than 60 years before we closed our doors in 2011, so it’s incredibly special to see our family’s legacy represented in this mural. ❤️

Happy birthday Maureen Gevertz 🎂

We celebrated Maureen’s birthday with a special weekend in Las Vegas filled with unforgettable memories, great food, and plenty of relaxation.

The weekend included seeing Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, a birthday dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Scarpetta at The Cosmopolitan, and relaxing days enjoying breakfast, the spa, and pool time.

While in Vegas, Maureen also received a sweet surprise waiting for her in her hotel room at the Wynn. The celebration continued back home with a birthday dinner at one of San Francisco’s most iconic restaurants, Foreign Cinema.

Happy Birthday again, Maureen! Wishing you a year ahead filled with happiness, love, and many more beautiful memories with family and friends. ❤️

Started with an incredible sunset on top of our boat. One of those moments you don’t forget. The next day took us through the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where we enjoyed tastings at two wineries and soaked in the countryside.

Overnight cruise into Avignon, While Maureen explored the local shops for lavender gifts, I managed a round of golf and yes, the greens here are something else, with perfectly rectangular greens and bunkers.

Dinner at Fou de Fafa on land was a highlight, and now in Arles we’ve been exploring the Roman coliseum and ancient theater. France just keeps getting better.

France has been treating us beautifully 🇫🇷

We started in the old town of Lyon, where we ended the day over a wonderful traditional Lyonnaise dinner. The streets, the pace, and the food all felt like stepping into a different rhythm of life.

Earlier that day, we spent time on a food walking tour tasting our way through the city. From praline bread to black and white truffles, every stop felt like a small discovery of something special and deeply local.

We then slowed things down even more with a riverboat cruise through Burgundy, taking in the countryside with a glass in hand.

A stop in Beaune reminded us why Burgundy wines are so loved. Pinot and Chardonnay here really do live up to the reputation.

Travel days like these are a good reminder to pause, take it all in, and enjoy the simple moments along the way.

Celebrating another year together in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. 🇫🇷❤️

From an unforgettable anniversary dinner at Didon in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, to wandering the charming streets of Montmartre on a walking food tour, this trip has been full of incredible experiences, amazing food, and memories we’ll cherish forever.

We explored one of the largest wine cellars in Chablis, surrounded by centuries of winemaking history, and spent time among the legendary Grand Cru vineyards where the views were every bit as impressive as the wines. Maureen has been having an absolute blast, and seeing her enjoy every moment has made this trip even more special.

Back in Paris, we stopped by Pont Neuf, the city’s oldest bridge, famously transformed by artist Christo into a massive work of art. It’s amazing how history, culture, food, wine, and romance all come together so effortlessly in France.

Feeling incredibly grateful for these moments, the adventures we’ve shared, and the years we’ve spent building a wonderful life together.

Here’s to many more anniversaries, new destinations, and unforgettable memories. 🥂

Great evening at Selby’s Selby’s in Menlo Park celebrating the successful sale of 1276 Windsor Way with my longtime clients and friends, Erik and Celestina. This is our 4th transaction together!

Moments like these are what make real estate so rewarding. Helping clients achieve their goals is always gratifying, but what means even more is when those relationships grow into lasting friendships over the years.
