Today, I'm sharing 5 ways to stick to your home buying goals during the holidays! 🔑🎁

A major part of preparing for homeownership is getting your finances in order. If you've been working hard to prepare your finances and improve your credit score this year, it's important to maintain them during the holiday season!

Here are 5 ways to help you stay on track: 👇

1. Set up automatic deposits into your down payment savings so you won't be tempted to spend that money

2. Create a budget for all of your holiday expenses; gifts, groceries, travel, decor, etc.

3. Don't max out credit cards - this affects your credit

4. Avoid hard inquiries and taking on debt; don't open up store credit cards while shopping!

5. Donate items you no longer need; this helps others & declutters your home (which means less items to move later)
