A reminder that the October food pantry will take place on October 29 and NOT the regular day.

The November pantry should take place on November 19th as scheduled.

There will be NO Friday pantries in October or November and no deliveries can be made in October or November. We apologize that the pantry will not operate as usual during these months.

IF you ordered a turkey, you will be notified when they are in, and will need to come and get them, unless you receive a regular delivery. Please ask able-bodied people in your household to pick up your delivery for you--just call ahead to let us know who to expect.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!
The Northgate pantry will be down two volunteers in the months of October and November. The pantry is a resident-run program with staff support. The pantry has had three consistent volunteers on the Thursdays and Fridays as well as for deliveries and it cannot run with only one volunteer. The deliveries need at least two volunteers. Therefore, in the months of October and November the pantry days and hours will be as follows:

Thursday October 29, 2026 from 5 :00 to 6:00 and November 19, 2026 from 5:00 to 6:00. FRIDAY PANTRIES ARE CANCELLED THESE MONTHS. Deliveries CANNOT be accommodated in the months of October and November.

The office will be in touch with those who have ordered turkeys with an automated phone call in November.

Hello Northgate residents. Do you use the Northgate calendar that is mailed out each year? We are curious, since many residents don't seem to know about various events and programs that are scheduled in the calendar each year. Due to the rising postal costs, we will mail them out by request, but the calendars will be in the management office for your use and access to Northgate's programs and events. Again, if you use the calendar and would like one mailed to you, please call the office at 802-658-2722. Otherwise, stop in if you would still like a copy! The 2027 calendars will be available at the end of December, 2026. If you don't use the Northgate calendar and still want to know about various programs and events, please look for them in the Northgate News, emails and robocalls. Thank you!
