Let's talk about the Rental market for a moment...

It is quite hard to find a rental (home, apartment, duplex, etc...) in 2025.
So what can you do to increase your odds in finding somewhere to live within your budget?

1) Tell everyone you know that you are looking! Tell your friends, family, hairdresser, the lady you strike up a conversation with at the Coffee House... you get the picture. The more that know you are looking, the better your odds are for finding somewhere to live.

2) Reach out to a property management company like Fox River Property Management or your local Real Estate Company, and let them know you are looking, tell them your budget and ask them to put you on a call back list if something comes available.

3) If you can put in an application before a place comes available, you will be ahead of the game with your background check and such. (this may work well if you know where you want to live (an apartment complex), and if you know the property management company.
