Iām 34 and I finally got tired of my own excuses. On December 22, 2025, I started again.
This time is different. Iām not relying on anyone but MYSELF for accountability. This is my NON-NEGOTIABLE.
The plan: 5ā7 days a week of pure bodyweight and calisthenics workouts. I knew I had to start small so I wouldn't burn out, but the road wasn't smooth.
šāāļø Week 1: I only managed 3 days. Between coming off a 2-month workout break, 3 months of daily dizziness, and a thumb injury, just showing up was the victory.
š Week 2: Hit 6 days! I knew I was gold, even if I wasn't strong enough for handstands yet.
šŖļø Week 3: Tried a handstand progression ONCE. My shoulders shook like a leaf in the wind, but it was progress! (Also: I finally found the right practitioner to fix the dizziness!)
šŖ Week 4: Tried handstand progression TWICE. My back and shoulders felt solid. I realized I could hold it longer if I really pushed.
š§ Week 5: My husband assisted me with a wall handstand, but my lower back arched too much and it hurt a bit. Later, I tried it alone and got scared of falling so I gave up after two kicks.
⨠Week 6 (TODAY): I asked for another assist and WOW. 𤩠I felt so stable and STRONG! Now it's just a balancing issue.
I have never been able to hold myself this accountable. It is NEVER too late to start. If I can work through the dizziness, the fear, and the physical limits, so can you.
This is the energy Iām using to power my health and my online business. š
