What is title insurance?

Purpose: the primary goal of title insurance is to safeguard against potential claims against the properties ownership.

Protection: it covers several potential problems, such as unpaid property taxes, liens from contractors or predators, forge or fraudulent documents in the properties history, unknown heirs claiming ownership, etc.
