Congratulations to the 2026 RE/MAX Results Burnsville Scholarship Recipients — Carolina Mazaba Perez & Santiago Chavez-Salvador! 🏡🎓
We are incredibly proud to recognize these two outstanding students for their hard work, leadership, and dedication to both education and community.
Carolina plans to pursue a degree in Construction Management and has already made an incredible impact through academics, leadership, and hands-on construction experience right here in our community. From helping build modular homes to breaking barriers as one of only two young ladies in her construction program, her determination and vision for the future are truly inspiring. Her dream of one day owning her own construction company is well within reach!
Santiago will also attend UNC Charlotte to pursue Construction Management. Through carpentry, drafting, design, and community rebuilding efforts after Hurricane Helene, he has developed a strong passion for creating safe, resilient homes for families. His leadership on and off the soccer field, combined with his dedication to helping others, reflects the bright future ahead of him.
At RE/MAX Results Burnsville, we believe in investing in the future of our communities, and these two students represent the very best of Western North Carolina. Congratulations Carolina & Santi — we cannot wait to see all you accomplish!
