In 1863 Adam Graham came to Cleveland from Philadelphia to lay out the gardens for The Wade Home on the corner of Euclid Ave. and E 40th St. at this time he was the personal gardener for General Patterson aka “Bull Run”. Graham stayed in Cleveland and opened his floral shop on Euclid Ave across from Lakeview Cemetery. In 1895 Graham was named 1st president of the Cleveland Floral Club.
