Find a realtor to help you with your purchase or sell as this is one of the biggest purchases you will make. Don’t do it alone. Ask for referrals from friends and family if we aren’t going to work together 😉. The realtor does more than just open doors, they walk you through the process, ensure all the paperwork is complete, leverage relationships with partners, and communicate with the other parties to move the sale along.

What are you looking for in your next home? Do you need three bedrooms with an office, and would like to have a fireplace? Make that list of must haves for your new home. Be sure to think if your current need and the next five years, depending on how long you are going to live in the home. It’s okay to think to the future, as do you need a larger lot to do an extension for more space or add an ADU? Get specific.
