🥶 It was NEGATIVE FIVE degrees this morning… the kind of cold that makes you question why you live in Pittsburgh while aggressively reheating your coffee for the third time.

But hold onto your earmuffs, friends — tomorrow we’re hitting the 40s!! In Pittsburgh terms, that’s basically tropical. Someone cue the steel drums. 🌴😂

And you know what a heat wave means in realtor + mama world? We don’t waste it — we MOVE in it.

While everyone else is still defrosting their windshields, the savvy buyers are out house hunting… and the smart sellers are getting their homes listed NOW so they can shine when the spring market explodes. 💥🌷

Overflowing with pride last night 💙

I just need to take a moment to celebrate my incredible sister,

She’s a devoted mom to her 4 beautiful children—each of them out in the world chasing big dreams and making their mark. She’s raised them with strength, love, and purpose, and it shows in everything they do.

Beyond being an amazing mother, Christy is a fierce and passionate advocate for the disability community—both here in Pittsburgh and all the way out in California. Her work spans across coasts, impacting youth, families, and entire communities. She’s constantly creating access, building opportunity, and making sure voices that are often overlooked are heard and valued.

She’s also the loving wife to the incredible Joey P, and together they’re building something truly special—a life of love, resilience, and meaningful impact.

Tonight, I had the honor of cheering her on as she and other community leaders were recognized for their dedication to creating real, lasting change in the world.

🚨REQUEST🚨

If anyone’s hoarding a few extra hours in their day, I’m gonna need you to cough 'em up. As a Realtor AND a mom of 4, which basically means I’m juggling open houses and actual houses… filled with small humans who think “quiet time” is a myth.

Living in a tornado powered by goldfish crackers, showing appointments, and mild panic.

I already negotiated a closing, a sibling peace treaty, a snack dispute that ended in tears (mine, obviously), broke up a fight over who gets the blue cup (THEY’RE ALL BLUE), school drop off, showed 2 homes, and negotiated with a toddler who thinks pants are optional.

I’m running on caffeine, dry shampoo, and sheer willpower.

Will trade:
• Real estate tips
• Expert-level hiding spots
• One (1) slightly feral child (just kidding… unless you're serious?)

If time is money, I’m overdrawn and emotionally bankrupt 😂

Accepting trades:
• Cold coffee (it’s just how I drink it now), really any caffeine
• One sock from every laundry load to match the 100 I have laying around
• Sarcastic motivational quotes, never have too many!

Happy Labor Day! 💪🏽🇺🇸

Today, we honor the hands, hearts, and minds that keep this country moving — from those working long hours behind the scenes to those on the front lines every day. 🙌🏽

To everyone who builds, teaches, heals, delivers, cleans, creates, protects, and serves — thank you. You are the backbone of our communities.

But here’s a thought…
When you love what you do, when your work gives you purpose — can you ever really “take the day off”? 🤔

Maybe Labor Day is also a chance to reflect on the privilege of doing meaningful work — and to make sure everyone has the opportunity to do the same.

Rest if you can. Celebrate if you will. And never forget the value of real labor.

❤️ J starts not only middle school but a new school today! I'm so thankful he is excited and confident....

This momma, on the other hand, is a nervous wreck!

My Prayer for J and all the kids starting back:

God,
As my son (and other students) begins this new journey — a new school, a new grade, and new faces — I ask You to walk with him. Calm any fears, steady his heart, and surround him with Your peace. Give him confidence in who he is and remind him that he is never alone, because You go before him.

Help him find good friends who will lift him up and teachers who will see his potential. Guide his steps, guard his heart, and grant him the strength to face each day with courage and joy.

May he grow in wisdom, kindness, and confidence. Let this be a year of new beginnings, wonderful surprises, and unforgettable growth.
