🏠 Homeowner Tip of the Week: You can shop your electric rate! 💡

I’ve been hearing from a lot of local homeowners that their Duke Energy bills are creeping up. But did you know you don't actually have to buy your electricity supply from Duke?

You can switch suppliers while still having Duke deliver the power (and fix the lines if they go down).

The state of Ohio has an official site where you can compare rates. I just checked, and Duke’s standard rate is around 10 cents/kWh, but there are fixed rates available for as low as 7 or 8 cents right now.

It takes about 5 minutes to compare and switch. Why overpay? Keep that cash in your pocket!
