I love all closings......but some are just more special than others. I had the honor of knowing this young man since he was 10 years old. It's such a privilege to be part of this new journey for him. He was absolutely alight today as he showed up with only $350 for closing on his new home! I am excited as he takes this new leap in home-ownership. I know he will make this house a home in no time! Three years ago, they were expecting their first baby and buying their first home. Today they are expecting their 3rd child and bought a bigger home while selling their first home. In the 3 years of living in their first home, they were able to earn over $40,000 in equity which they used to buy a beautiful farm house on 2.5 acres.

My first remote closing! I was so sad we couldn't make it work in person since I love these people so much! Closing got pushed off and my buyers had a vacation planned for California and needed to leave the day before closing. We made it work and they found a coffee shop to meet a mobile notary. So excited for this sweet family to start a new chapter in this adorable home! Congratulations Johnathan and Amanda. At the end of the day, getting closed is what matters.

My favorite part of being a real estate agent is the closings. Not because I get a check either. It's the smiles on my clients faces and the chance to give them one last gift at the end of our journey. My closing gifts have varied over the years, but I have tried to find gift made by locals. I've know Lee Bolts and his amazing pottery for about 15 years. However, when I saw these unique mugs, I knew I found my favorite closing gift and commissioned him to make me several to have on hand. My client from yesterday just sent me this photo and I was so happy to see how happy that one mug made her! Check out Lee and his amazing pottery!

Busy double closing day! You may be asking yourself.......haven't i seen these people already? Well yes you have. Im so happy and sad at the same time that my adventures in real estate this past year with both families multiple transactions have come to a close! The best part is that both families are also personal friends, so I don't really have to say goodbye! Instead, I look forward to hanging out with each of them in their new homes!
