The fall season in Michigan is unlike anywhere else.

The wind off the lake that finally has some teeth to it, the trails covered in more color than they know what to do with, and it's the perfect time to visit small towns that put up a Harvest Fest banner like they've been waiting for this since July.

And at the end of all of it, the drive home. The part that makes the rest of it possible.
