LA County Prices Hold Near $900K
Los Angeles County's real estate market continues to show remarkable resilience, with the median price for existing single-family homes reaching $888,100 in Early-Q3—just below that $900K mark. While this reflects a modest 2.6% dip from last year's $911,400, it's clear that affordability remains a key factor shaping buyer activity. Sales volume also saw a slight yearly decrease of 0.9%, as many buyers weighed the impact of elevated mortgage rates in the upper-6% range, which briefly hit a 12-month peak before easing a bit. Monthly payments are still a challenge for many, and that’s something I navigate with clients every day. As someone who’s helped buyers, sellers, investors, and tenants across LA County for over a decade, I’m always watching how shifting inventory and changing rates could open new opportunities. With more homes coming to market and rates edging down from their recent highs, I anticipate a more welcoming environment for buyers in the months ahead. If you’re considering your next move, staying informed and having a strategy is key—I’m always here to help guide you through it.
