Hello Calabasas.

NWS: Hilary is now a tropical storm. Raining now, but a lot more rain is still on the way. Heaviest rain starting around 5-6pm. Windy conditions continue. Storm moving out midday Monday.

Minor flooding and mud flows are still a possibility. Watch for downed trees in the roadway.

Please do not drive through any barricades on streets.

Not everybody receives these mass notifications. Please advise family, friends and neighbors. Follow the City of Calabasas on social media, as well as the Lost Hills Sheriff's station and LA County Fire.

I’m sad to report that our security officer of almost 5 years, Abdul Rushdi has passed away this morning at 1am due to complications from COVID-19.

I have so many amazing memories of this man and his courageousness when it comes to his job. He did everything to make sure that we are safe at OPC and always went beyond his duties.

He was one of the most fearless individuals I’ve ever met.

He leaves behind six children and several grandchildren 😢 Godspeed Abdul.

RIP Abdul
