📢 Free Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Waste Disposal Event! ♻️

When: Saturday, September 21, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Ford Idaho Center, 16114 N Idaho Center Blvd, Nampa

Canyon County residents can safely dispose of household hazardous and electronic waste at no cost!

🚗💨 Please stay in your vehicle and have waste ready in an accessible spot like the trunk. Limit: 25 gallons or 20 items per household. No biological/radiological waste, explosives, ammunition, or prescription drugs. Business waste by appointment only: (208) 577-4737.

It's that time of year! 😬
Chip sealing! APPROXIMATE CHIP SEAL DATES MAY 31 - JUNE 30 (subject to weather conditions).
Before chip sealing begins, we will be sweeping, flushing and patching. During this time, please remove all vehicles (including motorhomes, trailers, boats) to help us get the entire roadway prepared. Please watch for trucks, heavy equipment and flagging personnel.
TEMPORARY NO PARKING SIGNS will be placed in most areas. If you see these signs, it is an indication that crews will be in the area within about the next 24 to 48 hours.

The Canyon County Landfill is hosting its free day at the dump on Saturday, April 27.

• FREE RESIDENTIAL CLEAN-UP WASTE ONLY: Up to one ton of residential clean-up waste will be accepted without charge. Residential clean-up waste in excess of one ton will be accepted in accordance with the regular landfill fee schedule with a credit given for the first ton.

• REFRIGERATORS: Only one refrigeration unit will be accepted free of charge per household. Additional refrigeration units will be accepted in accordance with the regular landfill fee schedule.

• TIRES: Up to four (4) passenger car/light truck tires will be accepted free per household. Additional tires will be charged in accordance with the regular landfill fee schedule. Tires larger than passenger/light truck will not be accepted.

• WOOD WASTE AND METAL: Up to one ton of wood waste and metal will be accepted without charge. Wood waste and metal in excess of one ton will be accepted in accordance with the regular landfill fee schedule. Please note that wood waste and metal should be separated from other waste, as should tires and refrigeration units.
