Accession: A Flippin' Real Estate Board Game

Hey, Very Enthusiastic Risk Takers,

I've decided to give $50,000 and a new car to five individuals who are willing to risk getting out of the house to compete in an Accession Challenge! (Check the photo in the comments.)
Did I get your attention? Of course there is a catch, but you don't have to kill anyone and it won't kill you to get off the couch to meet someone else who lives in the neighborhood. All you have to do is play test a board game that I created. The game is Accession: A Flippin' Real Estate Board Game. You can look it up and see if it looks interesting.... (It's more fun that Monopoly.... Yes, I'm biased.)
I know that there have to be some folks who enjoy playing board games, but it's difficult to get you motivated to meet others. Introverts or extroverts, this is your chance to make some board game loving friends. So, are you a VERT? If so, here is what you need to do:
1. Comment below that you would like to participate.
2. Show up: Tuesday, May 5th, for game night at the Caldwell Public Library at 6:30 p.m. (2 hours)
3. You do need to be able to count to $50,000 and know how to make change.
4. You probably should be at least old enough to have a driver's license, but we can work around that is you can count.
5. You need to have a sense of humor.
I need five individuals who meet the criteria above to compete against me in a game. Those who comment first or get to the library on time will have priority over others. Since you will be play testing the game there may be some unexpected changes. It is a work in progress....
Even if you don't get to play Accession on Tuesday’s game night, you are welcome to use this "Meet Up" as an opportunity to introduce yourself to neighbors and other board game enthusiasts. Anyone, (introVERTs or extroVERTs), who shows up at game night is welcome to watch and ask questions about Accession. I can have a signup sheet available if you would like to be included in a future game session.)

Calling for 2 to 5 board gamer players looking for a new challenge. Got a favorite minifigure? I'm planning another evening playing Accession at the Caldwell, Idaho Public Library the first Tuesday of February, 2026 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Come play a great game that is nothing like Monopoly! 😄🤣

Would you like to play test Accession? You have a chance to meet Everett King, the game's creator at 9 Realms Relics Train and Hobby Shop in Boise on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Doors open at 10 a.m. for a day of Accession gaming in the game room for a limited number of participants. You might want to get there early. (Everett will need five volunteers to help him demo Accession at 10:30 a.m.)
There will be a drawing for 5 lucky(?) individuals to play Accession with him at 1:00 p.m. Tickets will be for $1.00 each until noon for the one o'clock game. The plan is to have the drawing at 12:30 and start the game at 1 p.m.
Everett may schedule more games at approximately 2 hour intervals until his adrenaline is depleted. (Ticket prices may have to changed in order to keep him inspired.) 😉
Come and join us to play test Accession and check out 9 Realms Relics and Hobby's offerings to the gaming and hobby community.

Interested in acquiring Accession? I have a very limited number of games available that can be delivered if you live near Caldwell, Idaho . They are playable, but may not be in perfect condition. They were early prototypes. Send a direct message and provide a way for me to contact you. Prices vary, depending upon condition. (usually $30) These are not available at Amazon or in any store--only online here.

As the game's creator and administrator of this page I've noticed that the page has been getting more visits than usual. With that in mind, If these recent visits are from people in the Caldwell, Idaho area I'm would like to know if you are interested in attending a game event in March to play Accession? Perhaps with spring vacation approaching would be a likely time. Watch this page for comments on this exploratory quest....

Perhaps a Friday evening at the Caldwell Library or a game afternoon (Wed. or Thurs.) at the book store (Rubaiyat) near Indian Creek Plaza.... I'll even be willing to meet somewhere else if you have a game room. Let me hear from at least 5 of you when you would be available (DM is fine). I will try to coordinate folks on a time and I will see about setting up an event. Let's see who is willing to be a VERT.*

Looking for a truly unusual Christmas gift for the game person who already has too many games, but wants MORE? Check out Accession! There were only a very limited number of the prototype games printed, and most of them contained boards that were less than perfect. If you really want to have a game no matter the imperfect condition of the board (still very playable), there are a few copies available.
