Did you make goals or resolutions for 2021? 🤔

Despite acknowledging that there may be some unknown obstacles for all of us in the coming year, I think goals are very important to stay motivated. Who doesn't love having something to look forward to?

One of the biggest health goals I have for the new year is to drink more water. 💦 Simple, but so important! I have always been terrible at drinking water, and by golly I think this is the year to change that. I ordered one of those fun 1 gallon inspirational water jugs, and I am pretty stoked about it!

Another personal goal I have is to be more present. The other day Jojo looked at me and said, "No phone, no phone!" 💔 Mind you, I was working, but she has obviously become aware of how often I am on my phone and sometimes you just gotta put the phone down and focus on what is right in front of you. In my case that is a beautiful 2 year old little girl who is getting bigger everyday! I don't want to miss all the little moments that lead to big memories 😍

My professional goal is to save enough to buy an investment property this year. 💸 For me, passive income is one of the most rewarding accomplishments knowing how much sacrifice and hard work went into getting me there.

So… Now that we're a few months into 2021 - How's it going for you?!

Everything happens for a reason, right? Dayna and I were on the hunt for her home all summer. Despite being continuously outbid in 6+ insane bidding wars, we didn't give up on finding her perfect place! Even though this is a very difficult buying climate, I won't let my clients settle on something that isn't exactly what they want.

Well, this home above all of the rest felt like her "home." We did her last walkthrough yesterday! We wanted to wear swimsuits and matching floaties for this photo, but this will have to do for now! 😂

Dayna is going to do a bit of remodeling and updates throughout, and then we will pop some champagne to celebrate! Looking forward to spending more time together and getting some after photos of your new HOME. ♥️

Now let's get your dad moved to Boise miss!

About a year ago, I started helping my friend look for some bare land to build a house on - Specifically with the goal of having ample space for a fully self-sufficient garden.

We got lost off Highway 21 a few times... *cough cough...* But had a blast adventuring! As the year went on, he decided that maybe simply buying a house was the route he wanted to go. After a fun weekend of viewing 10+ homes, it was clear this was the house for him and his fiance! (who was in Ukraine, at the time).

There's nothing like experiencing the smiles and feeling the energy when you know your client has found "their" home.

I am so happy for you guys and can't wait to see what you do with the place! Especially the epic garden... May 2021 bring you all the good things!

Congratulations to my clients on purchasing this beautiful new home!

The Repeat Boutique is hands down my favorite place to shop in Boise. Being that it’s a consignment store, there are literally new clothes on the floor every single day. I could browse the racks for hours finding gems, and it’s now become one of Jojo’s favorite places to go as well. She is my little stylist and doesn't shy away from telling me what looks good and bad. Go check this store out!

When I first started my real estate career, my grandma told me that her best friend’s son was wanting to sell his 7 acre property in Meridian and to give him a call. Terrified, I made the call only to be told, “Thanks but no thanks. I have a network of more experienced realtors and won’t be listing with you …But, and this is a big BUT... If you have any developers you want to send my way, I would be happy to take a look at opportunities like those."

Opposed to cowering away, his rejection motivated me: Challenge accepted! New to the business, I didn’t know any developers. I reached out to a co-worker I trusted for advice. He was extremely helpful, and was able to generate a few interested developers who we ended taking out to the property.

At this point, I met the seller in person where he once again communicated that I would not be getting his listing. I reassured him that I understood. I simply saw an opportunity to learn, and potentially find a buyer for him.

I got to work learning everything I could about the property. We pitched it to so many developers that when the time came for this seller to list the property, he sat my co worker and I down for breakfast and said he wanted to list with us — We deserved it!

I won’t ever forget that moment and how good it felt to truly EARN his business. We attended countless city meetings during the process of selling his property. We ended up meeting a couple who lived across the
street from our seller, and formed a solid relationship with them. They too said they would not be listing their 15 acres, but would be selling themselves.

Almost a year later, still staying in contact
and providing them with advice, they decided to let us sell their property and help them buy their new home!

So here we are, 2 years later having gotten 3 transactions amounting to nearly $3 MILLION in sales... When it all started with a “no”.

As a new agent, I put in so much hard work and dedication on this, regardless of not knowing if it would lead anywhere. Don't be intimated by what you don't know - Take it as a challenge. Show up with excitement to learn, and push yourself to grow! ❤️
